Research lab opens development office at Wright-Patt

Air Force Research Laboratory is opening an office intended to help plan and experiment with new technology.

The Air Force Strategic Development Planning and Execution Office will help the Air Force plan and experiment on emerging technologies with the goal of helping senior leaders make funding decisions on them. The office will use live exercises, experiments, modeling and simulation, as well as virtual and hardware prototyping to test these out, it said in a release.
