Cincinnati growing into a startup utopia

It has been just over a year since returning to Cincinnati, Ohio, and I’ve seen some pretty incredible progress.

Between reffing youth soccer on the weekends, devouring Skyline chili at an alarming rate, and staying involved in local startup happenings, I haven’t had much time to sleep, but I have gotten back into the swing of things. I am excited to be included in the growing the #StartupCincy ecosystem as the Midwest transforms into the new and improved Silicon Valley.

The region boasts an engaged and accessible ecosystem, including investors, entrepreneurs, educational and governmental institutions, and interested residents happy to get involved and champion local ideas. It’s not all work, of course. Top Golf has joined the list of my favorite attractions, and FC Cincinnati has joined the list of pro sports teams certain to keep any sports fan entertained. My goal for 2016 was to find a happy work-life balance. Cincinnati supports that cause in an affordable manner. In no way do I miss the East Coast prices.
