Here’s why P&G, PNC and others backed Foundercon – and what it means for Cincinnati

More than 1,100 young entrepreneurs converged on Over-the-Rhine for Techstars’ 2016 Foundercon on Tuesday and Wedneday, and while the event didn’t have anything specifically to do with Cincinnati, the Queen City took center stage and local groups that helped put it on expect the impact to resonate for years.

Techstars is a number of things:

▪One of the nation’s top-rated startup accelerators.

▪The planet’s largest startup network.

▪A philanthropic foundation.

Foundercon is the group’s annual gathering of the alumni from 22 different accelerator programs across the globe along with investors, venture capitalists and some of the largest companies in the country.
