Local tech efforts receive millions in funding
Technology business incubator Rev1 Ventures led Columbus organizations and businesses in winning a grant of more than $13 million from the Ohio Third Frontier Commission.
The award was announced Thursday, part of the Third Frontier Commission’s $67.4 million in funding statewide to help entrepreneurs develop innovative products and expand their technology startup companies.
“We are supporting the problem-solvers and businesses that are building a new Ohio,” said David Goodman, director of the Ohio Development Services Agency and chairman of the Ohio Third Frontier Commission, in a statement. “The investment in innovators will continue to create jobs.”
