Mason college student runs biotech startup

Peeyush Shrivastava graduated from Mason High School class in 2013. He is a junior at Ohio State University. He also founded and now leads a 3-year-old biotech startup that has drawn investment dollars from billionaire Mark Cuban.
Shrivastava’s company, Genetesis, has built a noninvasive tool to monitor the electrical current flowing around a beating heart. The company has raised $1.2 million in seed financing, and the Mayo Clinic is collecting data on the device, called CardioFlux.
