Norwood medical tech firm lands $900K state loan

A $900,000 loan from the state of Ohio could help a Norwood-based technology firm add 15 jobs in the region.

ReadySet Surgical is primed to land the money through the Commercial Acceleration Loan Fund, which the state Development Services Agency’s Ohio Third Frontier Commission manages. The program is designed to bridge the gap between an early-stage company’s need for capital and traditional commercial sources of financing typically reserved for established businesses.

ReadySet Surgical has developed a cloud-based platform to improve coordination of surgical vendor inventory.
