Brain-monitoring device lands funding in Dayton

A medical device developed by University of Cincinnati physicians has landed funding from Dayton Development Coalition’s Accelerant venture capital fund.

Sense Diagnostics LLC received a $250,000 investment from Dayton Development Coalition’s Accelerant Fund I, as the Cincinnati-founded startup begins trials that could be the last step before the pre-revenue company goes to market, said CEO Dan Kincaid, a serial entrepreneur who has been active in Cincinnati since 1989.
