Friends told Schumann he was crazy, but less than a year since launching the business, Wiretap has positive cash flow from 10 large corporate customers, including AIG and S.C. Johnson. This month it closed a $3 million Series A funding round to spur a burst of hiring. Pittsburgh-based Draper Triangle Ventures and Columbus-based Ohio Innovation Fund led the round.
