For one day, Akron will become Hacktown

An estimated 300 Northeast Ohio college students will pull an all-nighter in Akron on Saturday, April 22, but it has nothing to do with finals or parties. It’s a hackathon. For 24 hours straight, teams of collegians will attempt to create inventive technology-inspired solutions to a problem of their choosing at the inaugural HAkron event, held at The Bit Factory inside the downtown building of the Akron Global Business Accelerator.
