UD startup competition winner takes $25K top prize

The University of Dayton has a winner in its startup pitch competition whose item-holding idea has taken the top purse.

 

UD alumnus Zach McHale landed the Flyer Pitch Competition award for his idea, the “Neet Seat,” a pouch that can be attached to stadium and arena seats to hold coats and other personal items. The 2006 graduate and his business idea beat out 200 other teams for the $25,000 prize.
