USA Triathlon’s biggest event will be coming to Cleveland for two years, beginning in 2018.
And the hub will be an area David Gilbert, the president and CEO of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, says is one of Northeast Ohio’s best showcases.
The USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships will be held Aug. 11 and 12, 2018, at Edgewater Park, the sports commission announced at a news conference on Wednesday, April 12. The event, which the sports commission estimates will have an economic impact of $6.5 million each year, will return to the area on Aug. 10 and 11, 2019.
