A software startup that does for doctor’s office tests and procedures what CoverMyMeds does for prescriptions has raised $1.7 million in a still-open round, according to a regulatory filing.

It’s also added the former CEO of Mount Carmel Health System to its board of directors.

PriorAuthNow Inc. reported nine investors have joined the round that started this month and is described as “indefinite” in a Form D filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Based in far north Columbus, the company does not disclose its revenue.
