Crossroads-backed startup accelerator graduates third class

Ocean Accelerator, the tech startup accelerator that mixes business with spirituality on the campus of Crossroads church in Oakley, graduated its third class on April 27.

Ocean hosted its Demo Day at Crossroads Uptown campus in the old St. George church on Calhoun Street. The sold-out event drew 842 attendees with an additional 1,490 watching the program online through a live stream. Ocean director Ian Smith said it was the most-viewed startup accelerator Demo Day in the world, beating out South Korea’s SparkLabs, which drew 1,912 views.
