Startup InXite making sense of data to help doctors claim ‘money on the table’

 InXite Health Systems Inc. likely can exceed its pledge to employ 171 in Columbus, founder and CEO James Paat said – and still will need to turn to outsourced medical call centers and partner health-care organizations around the country to serve its rapidly growing enrollment.

In its first year since publicly launching, InXite has enrolled patients in five states in its platform to consolidate each individual’s medical data so physicians can craft a better-informed unified care plan and accurately capture measurements on whether health is improving. If they do so, some physician practices qualify for federal bonuses of about $40 per patient monthly. After costs, up to $15 goes to the doctor and $10 to $15 is InXite’s profit.
