$20M fund for ideas to fight opioid crisis is seeking applicants

Ohio Third Frontier is calling for applications to compete for chunks of the $20 million Gov. John Kasich set aside to develop products and technology to combat the epidemic of opioid addiction.

The commission has broken the fund into distinct programs: $12 million for more sure bets on medical devices or drugs close to getting on the market, and $8 million to shoot for the stars.
