Cincinnati-area startups headline boost in Ohio venture capital activity

Venture capital investments in Ohio companies skyrocketed last year to record levels, and Greater Cincinnati companies were all over a new report on the state’s startup activity.

The growth to $470 million invested in 210 Ohio companies prompted VentureOhio in its annual report on venture capital activity to refer to Ohio as being “short for momentum.”
