Nationwide Children’s spins out fourth gene therapy company – this one is staying in Central Ohio

Nationwide Children’s Hospital has spun out its fourth gene therapy startup to result from decades of research and millions in investment in manufacturing equipment and commercialization personnel.

Myonexus Therapeutics Inc., which has licensed five potential treatments for a group of related types of muscular dystrophy, is the first of the four to locate in Central Ohio. The corporate office is in New Albany, and like its three predecessors the clinical research is run out of the Columbus pediatric hospital and its Research Institute.
