OSU student from Mason receives $100,000 tech fellowship

Peeyush Shrivastava, a 21-year-old Ohio State University student and graduate of Mason High School, was recently named one of 25 Thiel Fellows. He will be granted $100,000 to spend the next two years developing his biotech startup.
The Thiel Fellowship, founded by tech investor Peter Thiel, awards young entrepreneurs with $100,000 to take a break from college and work on building a technology or technology-enabled company.
