A maker of adhesives and sealants is expanding its longtime Columbus headquarters by building a $4.4 million research and development lab to devise new polymers and manufacturing technology.
Franklin International Inc., Central Ohio’s 15th largest family-owned business, plans to hire eight chemists, engineers and technicians in jobs paying $50,000 to $70,000 yearly, according to the company and Columbus City Council.
