Medical device company nearing 250 jobs as it adds shift, workers

A global medical device company moving from West Carrollton to Fairborn has added shifts and about 150 workers with plans to hire more as part of a $45 million expansion.

NuVasive Inc. employs about 150 at the West Carrollton site on Liberty Lane and continues to house about 100 workers at its Herald Square location in Fairborn as it transitions as part of a deal that involved state incentives, officials said Thursday.
