The state of Cleveland’s startup environment is strong

Cleveland’s startup scene gets some major attention in this story from Engine, an organization that says it supports the growth of technology entrepreneurship through economic research, policy analysis and advocacy on local and national issues.

Taking part in a discussion of the entrepreneurial energy in town are Jennifer Stapleton, a Jones Day attorney and co-founder of TechniCLE Speaking, a civic advocacy event; Aaron Slodov, co-founder and chief information officer of Remesh, which he describes as an “AI platform that understands and engages groups of people in conversation in real time;” and Stephen McHale, the chairman, CEO and co-founder of Explorys, which now is part of IBM Watson Health.
