Representatives of Toledo and Detroit startup companies and individuals eyeing their own entry into the startup sphere met Tuesday at the University of Toledo to compare notes.
“I heard the word ‘startup,’ and I knew I wanted to be here,” said Ram Tejas Jonnalagadda, 20, a UT sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering. “I just want to learn how things work for startups in case I want to start my own company someday.”
Mr. Jonnalagadda was one of about 80 people who attended the 2½-hour panel at UT’s Nitschke Technology Commercialization Complex.
