CLEVELAND, Ohio — IngenuityFest program director Emily Appelbaum is overjoyed … people have finally stopped talking about “the bridge.”
You know, the lower level of the Detroit-Superior Bridge where such awesome IngenuityFests were held in 2010 and 2011 that no future fest could top them. Later years on the lakefront and Voinovich Park just didn’t have the same luster. Until last year.
IngenuityFest 2016, held in the former Osborn Industrial Complex in the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood, was such a success that people have FINALLY stopped asking about the bridge. Instead, this year, Clevelanders were asking if IngenuityFest 2017 would return to “the building,” aka the 350,000-square-foot Osborn complex, aka the new Hamilton Collaborative.
