Cedarville business lands $100K deal on ‘Shark Tank’

A Cedarville start-up that focuses on improving the taste of water for brewing coffee got a major boost when it landed a $100,000 investment on “Shark Tank.”
Third Wave Water, a start-up founded by two local businessmen, appeared on the nationally televised show on ABC on Sunday night. They walked away with a $100,000 deal with Barbara Corcoran, a real estate mogul who’s one of the hosts of the show.
They secured a deal offering Corcoran 25 percent equity, with Corcoran getting a $1 royalty on every pack of the company’s product sold until she recoups her investment.
