Cincinnati lands among New York Times’ top 10 places to visit in 2018

Cincinnati is one of two U.S. cities among the top 10 on a newly released New York Times list of the 52 Places to Go in 2018.

The Queen City is No. 8 on the list behind New Orleans; Colombia; Basilicata, Italy; the Caribbean; Vierwaldstattersee, Switzerland; Route of Parks, Chile, and Gangwon Province, South Korea.

“We’ve known that Cincinnati is not just becoming a world-class destination, but that it is one. Now it’s clear that the world knows that as well,” Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau interim president and CEO Michael Laatsch said. “The Cincinnati region’s travel and tourism industry has had consistent and robust growth, and this feature, along with the several others we’ve seen in recent months, is a testament to that.”
