Health insurance administration software startup TPA Stream raises $800,000 in seed financing

TPA Stream, a health insurance administration software company in Cleveland, announced in a news release that it has secured $800,000 in seed financing to support commercialization of its benefit administration and revenue-cycle management technology.

A spokeswoman for TPA Stream said the company was not disclosing specific information about the source of the funding. TPA Stream in the news release on Tuesday, Jan. 30, said it will “use the new funds to continue to develop solutions to simplify health care administration and recruit more software developers.”

The company has eight employees at present and expects to double in size in the next six months, the spokeswoman said.
