A Cincinnati tech startup headed by the co-founder of the platinum-selling rock group Hawthorne Heights has been acquired by a New York music technology company.
Brandery grad Soundstr was acquired by New York-based Vnue (OTC: VNUE), a music technology company that seeks to help artists, labels, writers and publishers further monetize the live music experience. Vnue CEO Zach Bair declined to disclose details of the transaction.
