28 health and technology startups will compete to be in Plug and Play accelerator: Here’s what they do

The 28 companies competing for ten spots in the Plug and Play incubator are inventing ways to make patient experiences easier and everyday business tasks better.

Some ideas are simple, like sending an alert when your doctor is running behind. Others solve problems, like automatically filing insurance claims or turning radio signals into electricity that can wirelessly power devices.

These entrepreneurs want to change the world — in small ways that make a big difference for hospital and business efficiency.

They will pitch their ideas Thursday, hoping to come to Cleveland for funding, space and mentorship to develop their ideas.
