Garageio door-controlling startup acquired by maker of garage door openers

An inventor is moving to Los Angeles as part of the acquisition of his startup, which came about after losing his garage door remote.

Garageio, a device and mobile app that monitors and controls garage doors, has been acquired for undisclosed terms by Guardian Access Corp., which makes garage door openers and other hardware. Garageio is the name in the market for the company incorporated in Columbus as Alottazs Labs LLC.
