Venture for America seeking more Columbus startup employers as alumni launch their own companies

Entering its fourth year in Central Ohio, Venture for America already has two former fellows who launched Columbus startups of their own.

The New York City nonprofit is seeking more Ohio technology startups that can offer roles with real responsibilities to young entrepreneurs in the two-year fellowships, said Erika Pryor, who started in March as director for Columbus and Cincinnati. About 40 fellows will be placed statewide this year, about one-fourth of them in Central Ohio; next year’s goal is 55.
