Veeva Systems Inc., a publicly traded health IT company based in the San Francisco Bay area, has signed the lease for its second “hub” in Dublin, to be led by its corporate chief information officer.

Catherine Allshouse started as CIO in January, moving to Central Ohio from Cincinnati after nearly seven years as CIO and COO for KnowledgeWorks.

The company plans $1 million to renovate and equip 30,000 square feet on the third floor of 5555 Parkcenter Circle, which also houses a Xerox Corp. office. Veeva had run out of room in a former customer support center in Hilliard.

With an expanded scope, the Dublin office will house all of the company’s North America help desk for application users, plus a portion of the teams for core product development, cybersecurity, IT, finance and in-the-field technicians, Allshouse said.
