Pillar to create driverless vehicle lab as Kasich declares Ohio a testbed for this tech

Pillar Technology LLC is developing a driverless vehicle research center that will create 25 jobs, with support from a $2 million JobsOhio economic development grant.

The Columbus innovation consultant and software development firm – and several other driverless vehicle initiatives around the state – got a clearer path Wednesday when Gov. John Kasich signed an executive order to make Ohio an inviting testbed for autonomous technology.
