Dutch tech firm specializing in IoT and RFID to open Columbus-area office with 30 jobs

Central Ohio’s emerging startup scene and Smart City initiative have attracted an internet-of-things specialist from the Netherlands to open a Columbus-area software development office.

Smartrac N.V. pledged to add 30 jobs over the next year and a half at a site to be determined, according to a state incentive. Ohio was competing for the office with Maryland and North Carolina, where the company has offices, according to the Ohio Development Services Agency.
