Boston machine learning company establishes Columbus foothold by acquiring AI startup

Nexosis Inc., a startup that helps corporate software developers plug machine learning into their problem-solving, has been acquired by a complementary Boston company that plans to grow the Columbus office as a strategic Midwest foothold.

DataRobot announced the acquisition of the Columbus company on Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed, but it represents an exit for Rev1 Ventures and several out-of-state investors.
