Tech workforce retraining program expanding after successful pilot at Nationwide

A project to help one of the city’s largest employers find tech talent could expand to other businesses in Central Ohio.

The Columbus State Workforce Advisory Council, convened by Columbus State Community College, put together a strategy aimed at helping adapt the region’s technology workforce as employers seek more IT workers with new skill sets. As a part of that, dozens of Nationwide employees have been retrained for new jobs that are becoming available at the Fortune 100 giant.
