Tech Elevator helps students prepare ‘new economy’

Michael Weiss can divide his life into two parts, before Tech Elevator and after Tech Elevator.

Before Tech Elevator, Weiss, 37, was a waiter. He had a degree in studio art from the University of Akron, but had no idea how to launch that into a career.

“I knew I wanted something else,” said the Akron resident. “I got sick of not having a career.”
