Dayton companies earn state funding to develop new products

A pair of Dayton-area companies have earned state funding to further develop their products.

S.A. Wyze Inc., a technology company located in Riverside, and VyrticalXpress LLC, a UAS transport provider also based in Riverside, each earned a $150,000 grant from the Ohio Third Frontier Technology Validation and Start-up Fund. The funding is used to demonstrate that a technology is commercially viable through activities such as testing and prototyping, with the ultimate goal of moving these new technologies out of the lab and into the marketplace.
