Warren-based incubator is showing some energy
The Tech Belt Energy Innovation Center — a burgeoning incubator in Warren that is drawing interest beyond the Mahoning Valley — is about to greatly expand its capabilities when it opens its new energy testing lab.
The lab, tentatively called the Energy Integration Lab, is expected to open Oct. 18. It will have an area for testing batteries, including fuel cells. The capabilities won’t be deep, but they are broad, said chief technology officer Bill Whittenberger.
