Miami grads’ NASA-inspired startup raises $5M

A Cincinnati startup that makes apparel using the same insulation that protected NASA’s space shuttles raised a $5 million seed round of funding.

Oros, founded by Miami University graduates Michael Markesbery and Rithvik Venna, raised a $5 million seed round from institutional investors and a number of individuals who serve on the company’s advisory board.
