Cintrifuse CEO Pete Blackshaw just wrapped up his first week on the job, and he has a message for Silicon Valley giants like Google and Facebook: You need to open up shop in Cincinnati.
Blackshaw comes to Cintrifuse, Cincinnati’s startup shepherd for young tech companies, with a foot in both worlds. He co-founded Procter & Gamble’s first digital division in 1997 before leaving two years later to create his own startup. He then built that company, PlanetFeedback, into a multimillion-dollar firm that put consumers in touch with companies to address complaints before Nielsen acquired it in 2006. He most recently headed up digital and social media for Nestlé in the company’s world headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland.
