‘We’re starting to win,’ CincyTech CEO says

Cincinnati’s startup community is starting to gain ground on the coasts, where the bastions of venture capital traditionally operate. That’s what Mike Venerable, CEO of seed-capital investor CincyTech, told me on Tuesday at the company’s annual Big Breakfast.

“We’re starting to win,” Venerable told me at the event, speaking of the Cincinnati startup community as a whole. “Whatever success you’re seeing now, it’ll be five, 10 times that in a decade. This is the end of the beginning.”
