Athens maker of medical deep freezers raises more than $10M
Stirling Ultracold, which makes energy-efficient deep freezers for hospitals and biomedical research, has raised more than $10 million toward product development and working capital as it approaches $100 million annual revenue.
Columbus-based Ohio Innovation Fund led the Series B round, with participation by Cincinnati-based American Financial Group Inc., St. Louis-based Advantage Capital, and Athens-based TechGrowth Ohio.
