Lessons Learned: Corporate America To Startups

Years ago, I worked in corporate America (and Canada), and I have often talked and written about how the lessons I learned can transfer between the two types of organizations. Recently I was introduced to Pete Blackshaw, of Cintrifuse, whose story below follows a similar theme and he has great tips for entrepreneurs.

Developed in 2012, Cintrifuse was created after companies like P&G, EY, Kroger as well as the City of Cincinnati saw a need for creating a sustainable, tech-based economy in the region.  It’s based in Cincinnati, Ohio’s historic Over-the-Rhine district and has one very clear mission: to make Greater Cincinnati the number one startup hub in the Midwest and one of the top innovation hubs in the country.
