Cincinnati startup livestreams NFL action from players’ helmets for first time

Cincinnati startup ActionStreamer made another huge leap in getting its livestreaming technology into major league sports last month when it captured video from players’ helmets during the NFL’s Pro Bowl week.

Davante Adams, Von Miller, Russell Wilson and others wore Norwood-based ActionStreamer’s helmet cameras during practices in the week leading up to the Jan. 27 Pro Bowl in Orlando, Fla. And Seattle Seahawks quarterback Wilson and Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron wore helmets outfitted with ActionStreamer’s livestream technology in warmups just before the game.
