Here’s how much Nationwide Children’s is bringing in from its ‘robust’ tech pipeline this year
In just the first quarter of 2019, Nationwide Children’s Hospital is on track to bring in more than $25 million in revenue from licensing income from technology developed in its labs.
That includes more than $18 million from the recent sale of a gene therapy spinout. The total from that deal still is being calculated, but more than $7.5 million revenue from a diverse portfolio before that deal has the hospital on track for steady income that doesn’t rely on one-time bonanzas.
