Columbus venture fund to invest $50 million in Cleveland
NCT Ventures, a fast-growing Columbus-based venture fund, plans to spend half of a new $100 million fund in the Cleveland area, the Cleveland Foundation’s chief financial officer said on Tuesday.
The fund focuses on Midwest-based companies. NCT invested in 32 technology companies in less than two years, with 19 of those in 2017-18, according to the Columbus Business Journal. About 90 percent of investments are in Ohio.
