Cincinnati medical device firm clears FDA hurdle
Genetesis, a Mason startup that’s developing a medical imaging device that could benefit patients with heart problems, has received FDA 510(k) clearance to market it.
“This milestone provides emergency room physicians and cardiologists with access to new technology to measure and visualize the magnetic fields produced by the heart’s natural electrical activity,” said Peeyush Shrivastava, CEO and co-founder of Genetesis.
CardioFlux technology originated by Genetesis provides doctors with a noninvasive device to see how the heart beats.
