Ohio added more than 9,000 tech jobs in 2018

Employment in tech-related fields increased by more than 9,000 workers in the Buckeye State last year, according to a new analysis.

According to CompTIA’s Cyberstates 2019, a guide to tech sector and tech workforce analytics, tech employment in Ohio grew by 9,250 jobs in 2018 — a 2.4 percent increase from 2017. Technology accounts for 397,000 jobs, or 7 percent, of the state’s workforce.
