Construction starts within weeks for the first tower of a $240 million CoverMyMeds headquarters campus that’s expected to spark massive redevelopment in west Franklinton.
Instead of lining up for a photo with beribboned shiny shovels to break ground, the tech company is throwing a huge party for the neighborhood with free food, music, bounce houses and face-painting. And employees are volunteering en masse in coordinated projects in the week leading up to it.
“Our campus was inspired by two pillars – community investment and creating a remarkable workplace for our employees – so what better way to do that than volunteering throughout the week and throwing a community block party?” spokeswoman Angela Masciarelli said via email.
