Miami University, Cincinnati accelerator team up on investment fund for social entrepreneurs
Miami University is partnering with a Cincinnati-based accelerator on an initiative to increase the funding available for social entrepreneurship.
Miami’s Center for Social Entrepreneurship at the Farmer School of Business and Flywheel Social Enterprise Hub are teaming up on a fund that seeks to generate social benefit alongside financial return. The fund, made possible through a gift of seed money from 1969 alumnus Arthur Collins Jr., is one of the only undergraduate-led funds of its kind in the U.S., according to the university.
